About Curbside Phone Tech
Curbside Phone Tech is a mobile device repair service operating in Wayzata, Excelsior, Orono, Minnetonka and Shorewood, Minnesota. We provide on-site repair services at the customer's location. We can be reached at curbsidephonetech@gmail.com or (952) 228-7494.
Booking & Appointments
- Bookings are made through our website and are confirmed via Calendly. You will receive a confirmation email after booking.
- By booking an appointment you agree to be present or have your device accessible at the address you provided at the scheduled time.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to scheduling conflicts, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible if this occurs.
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 2 hours before your appointment via text or phone at (952) 228-7494.
- Repeated no-shows may result in being unable to book future appointments.
Pricing & Payment
- All prices shown on our website are starting prices. Final pricing may vary depending on the specific model, condition of the device, and parts required.
- You will be given a final price quote before any repair work begins. We will not start a repair without your approval of the final price.
- Payment is due upon completion of the repair. We accept cash, credit/debit card, Venmo, and Zelle.
- If additional issues are discovered during the repair, we will inform you before proceeding with any additional work.
90-Day Warranty
- All repairs performed by Curbside Phone Tech are covered by a 90-day parts and labor warranty from the date of service.
- This warranty covers defects in the parts installed and workmanship performed during your repair.
- This warranty does not cover damage caused by drops, water exposure, further physical damage, or issues unrelated to the original repair.
- If a warranted issue arises within 90 days, contact us and we will return to fix it at no charge.
- Water damage repairs are not covered under warranty due to the unpredictable nature of liquid damage.
Parts & Repairs
- We use OEM-quality or manufacturer-grade replacement parts for all repairs.
- By authorizing a repair you acknowledge that opening a device may void any existing manufacturer warranty on that device.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or issues unrelated to the repair performed.
- We recommend backing up your device before any repair. Curbside Phone Tech is not responsible for any data loss that may occur during a repair.
- In the rare event that a repair is unsuccessful, you will not be charged for parts or labor.
Limitation of Liability
Curbside Phone Tech is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from a repair, including but not limited to data loss, loss of use of your device, or loss of business. Our total liability for any claim related to a repair shall not exceed the amount you paid for that repair.
We take great care with every device we work on, but we cannot guarantee outcomes in cases involving severe physical damage, prior repairs by other technicians, or water damage.
Service Area
We currently serve Wayzata (55391) and Excelsior/Shorewood (55331), Orono, Minnetonka in Minnesota. Service outside these areas is at our discretion. If you book from outside our service area, we will contact you to discuss options.
Website Use
By using curbsidephonetechs.com you agree not to misuse the site, submit false bookings, or interfere with the operation of the website or its booking system. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Hennepin County, Minnesota.
